Tenor Ukulele - Blackwood and Spruce

This uke, along with a concert sized one were my first Spanish heel builds. Started the beginning of August, and strung up on the 30th.
This one is made from some Blackwood that Bob gave me when I was down in Geelong on my trip to Playmakers. Too small for guitars, but perfect to knock a uke out of it. The top is some Engelman that I've had for a couple of years. Easy to get 2 uke tops out of one 000 sized guitar top, with probably enough for a soprano as well.
Finish is Whittle PNZ Hardwax over WEST Systems epoxy for a pore filler.

I strung this one up with Savarez strings and put a low G. It really works well on this instrument, and I plan on keeping it this way.
