Baritone ukes seem to be gaining in popularity with my clients lately and this one going to a client that has 7 of my other ukes.
It uses a set of Clear Worth Baritone strings, but are rearranged so that the tuning is GceA. Familiar chord shapes for those that play smaller ukes with the standard tuning, but gives a very interesting sound with the low A.

I love this ukulele as well. is your heel cap just decorative or does it help tie the neck to the body like a violin. I like the look.

I use a Spanish heel neck, so it's integral to the instrument. The heel cap therefor is just decorative.
