I saw one of Allen's Ukes on here with an Ancient Sitka top from Alaska Speciality Woods and was intrigued buy it. I managed to buy what I think was one of the last pieces they had, frankly not as nice as the pieces Allen had but still Ok in my books.. Anyway I'm partial to Tenor Guitars, so I built a Zircote & Ancient Sitka Tenor Guitar.. Neck is Peruvian Walnut with maple laminations and fingerboard and bridge are ebony, the bindings are maple and the rosette & arm bevel are also flamed maple.. Finish is Royal Lac hardened Shellac..
I'll try and sort out a sound clip in the next few days.
Oh and thanks! Allen for some advice on the top this one was damn stiff.

Re: Tenor Guitar (not a Uke)
That's one pretty guitar Kerry! And yeah, nothing wrong with that bit of Ancient Sitka, looks noice
Only one thing I would change would be to either go back to black buttons on the tuners or go all gold, not sure I like the two tone but that's just me and one mans meat is another's poison as they say
Still doesn't stop the guitar from being eye candy.
Just as an aside, you haven't had Warwick on your case about your headstock inlay have you?
