Brace clamps

This has worked well for me so thought I'd share it.

Hi Dave
That looks simple, cheap and effective - with good access for cleaning up the glue squeeze out. But I assume it has to be a dead flat back?

Yes true Mark. I am not a luthier but I love fixing things up. I get old and battered guitars and do them up and give them away to people who show an interest in music. I only do classic/accoustic guitars and so far (11) have had flat backs. I use a similar clamp for reglueing bridges. Its made out of metal shelf bracket stripping. Its wider so enables me to wegde from both sides which suits most bridges. Am hoping to learn a lot more skills from this forum.
