Waist sander

Got sick of hand sanding the waist so-
A cheap 1/4 sheet sander with worn out pad
A piece of "pool snake" with a flat cut on it
Titebond to glue them together
- A dedicated waist sander

Cool idea Jeff, these sanders are $20 at Bunnies at the moment, buy2!!

Jeff,
I tried your idea its not working too well. Before using the sander my waist was 97cm...after a one hour work out with the sander my waist size is still the same and Ive got some huge blisters and major chaffing happening.
What am I doing wrong?

Jeff, if you do not mind, I will step in here to assist our Kiwi mate Martin .
Martin, you need to commit a little my friend. Please try the system again, only this time, show the tenacity to apply some of that famous ANZLF intestinal fortitude.
For instance my friend, you need to at least commitment yourself to a regime that will see you apply yourself to the system for 1 in every 4 hour. For faster results, you may also wish to consider decreasing grit size a little, lets say 40 grit, this is sure to see the weight fall away quite quickly.
Great idea Jeff, I know that I will be stealing it.

Nah mate its not the sandpaper so it must be the cheap arse sander. Ill take it back to Bunnings tomorrow and explain my problem to the nice knowledgable school kid behind the power tool counter.

Ah yes, I forgot about the sages upon the bunny mound. No doubt the pimpled cleric of "lower prices are just the beginning" land, will have just the right model Ozito piece of crap power tool to frustrate and depress those kilos right off ya Martin....hmmm maybe I could drop in there myself.......a lot.

I think you must be applying too much of the amber lubricant
Sanding is best done dry.

Im currently on an offshore oil rig...nearest alcohol is in Broome and thats 400km away.
