I just upgraded this by fitting a new vertical slide and Kress Router.

Nicely done Ken. I'd be interested in seeing the spring counter balance set up for the router.

Your an inovator Ken, I love the fact you used something already available for the arm and used your time and energy to make a realyy nice router base.

Thanks Ken. The fine adjustment idea is a nice touch and so simple when you see it! One that I'd never thought of and I'm paid to come up with ideas in my day job!

Nothing groundbreaking Allen...Just two springs, one end attached to the top fixed bit..and the other end to the moving bit...with an adjusting screw (off a turnbuckle) at the top to set the balance ..The Brass sliding bits, used to be the fittings on an old Bass drumAllen wrote:Nicely done Ken.
