What glue to use for teflon to wood?

Hey guys,
I am making a caul for gluing down pickguards that have shrunk and curled up on older guitars.
I want to glue on some teflon material like the stuff Stew Mac uses to make small "dams" to keep
glue out of your fret slot. I need to know what kind of glue to use to glue this teflon to the
wooden pickguard shaped caul.I know CA and epoxy won't stick to it. Has anyone used this stuff for
a non-stick caul?? I hope there's some type of glue that will stick.

Double sided sticky tape will probably work. At least sufficiently to keep the Teflon in place.

Teflon doesn't play with others too well, hence it's use in pots as a non-stick surface (where it was 'bonded' to the surface at that molecular level, I think they apply some sort of etching agent to the metal to create a rough & slightly porous surface then apply liquid Teflon that keys into the porous surface before solidifying), it usually needs some sort of mechanical fixing method such as screws, to hold it to anything. Mike's suggestion of a bit of double sided tape is probably the only way you will get the two to stay together for any period of time but it won't be permanent, the tape merely 'locates' the Teflon. If you plan on applying clamping pressure to the caul (which you do), just be aware that the Teflon may creep on you, so I'd be cutting it oversized. Or you could just lay the sheet over the old pickguard & apply the caul on top of that & do away with the need to hold the two together.

Hey thanks guys. I tried some of the 3m spray adhesive recommended by Dennis Leahy and it seems to have worked very well.

Handy should you ever want to cook breakfast on your guitar

I am so against gluing pickguards on, there is nothing wrong with double sided tape.
