Dehumidifier maybe available

Post by graham mcdonald » Fri Oct 17, 2008 5:01 pm

Folks, The American Embassy is having one of their regular sealed bid sales of household stuff and they have a Sunbeam Dehumidifier DH5500 on offer. I got a similar one (different brand) a year or so ago for around $100 and I think they would have sold for around $400 new. I can put a bid in if anyone is interested in getting it and work out how to get it to you. I don't need such a thing here in Canberra, but for anyone on the coast they are a necessity I think. No guarantees of getting it, but there isn't a huge demand for them here, so there is a decent chance of picking it up

Info on it at http://www.sunbeam.com.au/product_docum ... 500_ib.pdf

I think you can get info on the sale at the US embassy website

cheers

Graham,

Can you put in a bid for $90 for me. If its successful we can discuss how to get the thing to me. Might be a good excuse to come over and visit the ghost who walks...and builds mandolins.

Commision for you will be one of Shane's Lutz tops.

Cheers Martin
