Hello all from Hobart TAS, I've been a guest here for so long but not getting my hand dirty yet until now that I am building my first guitar , it's an OM
I use blackheart sassafras for back and sides and king billy pine for the top. Tonight I'm gonna plan down the top to the right thickness, but I am not sure with King billy pine, it's not very stiff like spruce, may I know how much thickness I should aim for roughly? Thank you everyone.

Welcome to the forum mate.
King Billy Pine top thickness.......this discussion might be of help: http://www.anzlf.com/viewtopic.php?t=4075
2.7-3.0mm would seem to be a reasonable target but actual thickness will depend on stiffness. I've found KBP varies a bit in stiffness....I had some really floppy brace wood which I ended up ditching.

I find KBP is very floppy across the grain and you need to keep it at least as thick as cedar. So for a ballpark on an OM, I would be keeping it about 3.5mm.
