For Craig L.....

Post by kiwigeo » Fri Oct 10, 2008 11:33 am

Right guys. Craig's doing the chemo thing and he's lost his much beloved locks. I dont see why he should be the only one with a lovely shiney nut so I got busy with the trusty Veritas blockie and gave myself a quick trim.

Anyone else up for a show of support for our mate? Shave your nut and post up a pic.

Cheers Martin

I reckon you could get that to a high gloss if you started at around 600 grit and work your way up to 12000..

Geez ! I appreciate the sentiments Martin , but I'm thinking shaving your own noggin in support is a bit much !

Take it from me ,,,,,,,,,,it's colder !

I must say, after being a' longhair ' all my life , it's given me a bit of a jolt.

Here's a before and after picture . The wife reckons I look like Ghandi

I wouldn't advise anyone to do it ! All the woman hanging around me since , is becoming troublesome  I'm sure our bald luthierites Allen and Martin can confirm this . . ( in their dreams ,,,,)

Grant , I'll dazzle the neighbours and give the micromesh a hit

Cheers , all the same . :D

P.S. Martin , Gimme ya bloody stash ya B-----d

Just got home, so I'm just a little late to post my mug.

Your nut is looking great Craig. My wife thinks it's a big improvement. But she's biased. Loves to rub bald mens heads.

Do you think my head makes my ears look big.

Well I went the full Bic, but if it makes me mate Craig feel a little better it's all cool by me, may be a little too cool in the mornings tis all.

I am also a little concerned about how attractive this may have made me to those south sea poms. Could the clean shaven look be the reason so many are shearers.

Cheers all.

Well after my shave this morning I decided to have a bit of fun. I headed down to my local cafe and scared the cr*p out of the girls behind the counter. Once theyd picked themselves up off the floor they couldnt stop rubbing their hands over my shiney naked nut.

Well duh! What do you expect Martin, after all I 'was' a Cone Head alien for most of my younger days and my head was carefully molded to a close fitting Shoei Helmet I wore for many years. Besides, you should talk chrome dome, you look like and extra out of Harry Nilsson's Oblio and the Point 8)

If I am going to bring Harry Nilsson into this it just would not be complete without lending your ear to this track.

And no I do not know why we can't seem to get the 'youtube code to work :?

Brilliant track Kim. Thanks for posting that.

I've never heard of him. Have I been living under a mushroom, or is he a Golden Oldie Aussie?

Allen,

You would have heard of Harry but he was washed away so long ago you could be forgiven for the lack of recall. Harry is a true golden oldie, he was John Lennon's drinking buddy when he split from Yoko Ono and was yet another victim of the disco era. By the time the world had found a cure for Saturday Night Fever, Harry's career had sailed away.

A quick read of the attached link will refresh your memory of this fine musical talent and give you an "Oh yeah, that's right" moment I'm sure.

The guys asked me to do it too Hayseed. But unfortunately I'm in sebastiaan's boat. Psoriasis tends concentrate on the scalp. If you look at sebastiaan's arm and the patch of psoriasis he's got there, imagine that covering my whole noggin. Not pretty. Not too pretty with the hair either.

At least I'd get a seat to myself on the bus though.

You know if there's anything you need you can call me, even if it's just somebody to complain to.
