To minimise lateral twist with an acoustic steel string guitar neck would installing carbon fibre rods glued in with epoxy on each side of the truss rod help? Maybe installing carbon fibre rods would help to control neck twisting and therefore help to improve the guitar's ability to cope better with moisture changes under tension.
It appears to be an expensive item from Stewmac or LMI. Would need to surf the internet for cheaper options.
What would be a suitable size for the carbon fibre rods: 3mm x 8mm, 3mm x 6mm, or maybe square hollow carbon fibre tube 3mm x 3mm?
I understand that the carbon fibre rods can flex if adjustments are made with the truss rod.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Wayne. You can get 6mm x 4mm from Australian carbon fibre there's a minimum order of $30. They come in 1mt lengths. I usually buy about 20 lengths then they last for a while. Wayne

The 4X6mm rods that are linked are the ones I've been using for 10 years.

Thanks Wayne snd Allen for the carbon fibre rod information and source to purchase. This will be another step of improvement for my next guitar builds in year 2023.
