This is great for Sydney people. Bob is a harp maker in his 70's looking to move some timber out before he retires. I bought a 75x250x1200mm flitch for $120. Beautiful silk and it rings like a bell. There is some weathering on the piece so the waste will be a factor. He purchased in the 70's from a defunct piano manufacturer.

His workshop is a classic and his instruments are fabulous, so at the least he is worth a visit,

Sebastiaan Did you check out the King William pine? Would be interested in hearing your thoughts if you did. I hate buying timber without seeing it but am tempted to grab it and have a mate pick it up for me.

If anyone was planning a visit and could pick out a couple of bits of the sitka it would be gratefully appreciated. I could Paypal him or yourselves. I have just bought the chunk of King Billy, so I have to work out a way to get up to Sydney and pick it up as well
A 1200mm length of the 150 and 200mm wide bits would be great if it were possible...

cheers
