Nice one Robbie!

I should have had a closer look at your UV set-up when I was over.

Next time... :D

Its interesting you do not use a sealer under the gel robbie.

I have had many issues with the oils coming through the gel and subsequent topcoats when curing them before putting the sealer in between the wood and gel.

Captions must only appear if watching on a desktop as nothing comes up on my mobile, and I was paying close attention to this one as a UV setup is on my "to do" list.

This looks like a fantastic method. Any idea what the setup would cost?

5000 odd dollars here in aus

Also uv paint, gel is shipped hazardous from america as well, so thats not cheap either for consumables.

Yes , Australia is not quite on speed yet with the uv stuff, I reckon in about 5 yrs or so it should be far better priced.

Robbie, what's the procedure for soundboard with this stuff? No filling then just top coats?

Nigel, You will need to spray an adhesion promoter on everything, including the top.
