Steve useful log of the neck repair.

I was interested when you used CA to lightly glue down the nut. Is this common practise on steel strings? My experience is with classicals but have made a couple of SSs and simply made the nuts a close fit.

Hi Dave,

No right or wrong way, just what works for you, I personally just like two drops of superglue to stop the nut from drifting and or creating a sympathetic string vibration.

Wood glue could be used as well, you would possibly need a little more than two drops, but I am unsure on that as I do not do it that way, others who do, may speak up with advice on that one
