Note to self

Post by simso » Sat Nov 19, 2016 1:42 pm

When sanding belt gets worn on belt sander.

You fit new one, do not need to push so hard, new belt has more grip than old belt, new belt removes skin very fast.

Bwahahahaha

Dumb ass.. Steve

Ouch.

Could have been worse......you should still be able to manage an acceptable rendition of "Chopsticks" on the ivories and it looks like you can still hold a stubbie in that right hand :)

Doing a bit of hand sanding Steve?
Life is good when you are amongst the wood.

I reckon the linisher is what I've had the most boos boos on out of every tool in the workshop, luckily none serious and not as bad as it looks like you've managed.

One guy that used to work along side me though did take a finger down pretty close to the bone here on the same machine.

It's usually when trying to do some small piece that we probably shouldn't be doing.

Beware of the sanders!

Yep, not a portable belt sander, linisher is a better terminology.

One of these stupid things

Fingertips bleed really well, I poured some paint over the wood floor before I went home :), no evidence...

Mine is exactly that model!

It's by the workbench as it's one of my most used machines, great for so many jobs
