I'm not usually one to engage in 'bashing' of the factory makers.
But i had a chuckle -

Not many pieces there that would yield a quartersawn neck.

It's a non issue since necks don't "need" to be quartersawn, it is preferred by many, however many brands use flatsawn as standard, which Fender are well known for.
