Looks like he works in an auto body shop. A little paint and it will look like new.

If that's what he did to a guitar that has sentimental value I'd hate to see what he would do to one he didn't like much.
He will have plenty of money to pay for the repair once he has sold his flash BMW.
Plus a bit further down in the "related ads" section someone is looking for a guitar for a fancy dress party, no strings required - sounds like a match made in heaven to me.
