I buy all my IRW and Ebony from Ashok. Would be at least 10 large orders over the years.

Interesting Stew would be having trouble getting quality wood Taylor sucked up a lot along with many others :( I have found a suplier of great and reasonable shell inlay blanks here in Melbourne so far so good ,sorry for the high-jack.John.:)

My experience with Stewmac is that they will send replacements for defective parts, no questions asked. Worth a try, even if the order was large.

A few people have had satisfactory dealings with Perekh. Haven't heard any bad reports from people who've dealt with him but he was banned from the forum for repeatedly contravening forum rules a few years back. Bob ran into him in Melbourne recently but I don't think they'll be having long hot showers together

I bought some IRW from him sometime ago.
He requested payment through Bank transfer which I did.
The Bank in India sent me back my payment except it was short by $75 aud.
I had to wear that.
So if he doesn't offer PayPal I would not deal with him.
Cheers

He offers PayPal. That's how most of my payments have been made over the years.
