Strat bodies - finished

Post by old_picker » Thu Nov 26, 2015 7:22 pm

Any one having problems with Hosco strat bodies. Got a new one here I and the trem route is 1/10" too far back making modification necessary. A real PIA and not the first I have had like it.

Sure this isnt for compensation?
Easiest fix would be to route the neck pocket back the same amount.

Don't know the brand of body, but I recently fixed a partscaster a client bought in Singapore where the distance from trem mounting holes to the front of the rout was about that distance (2.5mm) out. The front of the trem block rubbed on the body,
Had to cut back the front of the rout, sounds like the same situation.
