Is anyone working on procedures for doing this at home? I am thinking I should take some of my crappy tops, bake them for a while, and see if that improves them. Has anyone experimented with this?

Baking is for the birds...I marinate my tops for a week in soya sauce and then fry 'em up after seasoning both sides with pepper and rock salt.

Anyway cooking your tops just ain't traditional

"Baking is for the birds...I marinate my tops for a week in soya sauce and then fry 'em up after seasoning both sides with pepper and rock salt." -good for vegetarians but use Tamari, it's gluten free...
"I don't have an oven but Ive got a half decent Weber BBQ.....will that work??"-don't sell these instruments to vegetarians!
