New Luthier Tips du Jour Video - Aqua Coat

Post by Robbie O'Brien » Mon Jul 20, 2015 8:20 pm

Here is the latest Luthier Tips du Jour video - The topic is how to use Aqua Coat filler to fill the pores for a level surface during finish work. This video as well as all my other videos are available via my website, http://www.obrienguitars.com/videos , LMI's website or on youtube.
Enjoy!

I'd certainly like to know about compatibility with 2k clear and sealers etc. Seems like it could be a very handy product.

I just used it on my current build, an EIRW archtop, it took about 5 coats to fill the pours. I'm not exactly sold on it, maybe I did something wrong. I did follow Robbie's instructions.

Well, being that Rosewood barely needs grain fill it'd be pretty useless with something like Wenge or Mahogany then?
