Native Olive - Bending

Quite some years ago I purchased some Native Olive from Tim S. I think it is a Tasmanian species. After allowing it to adjust to Canberra's climate (my excuse for procrastinating), I am now ready to bend the sides for a Parlour Guitar. I have an MDF inside mould made but my only means of bending at this stage is a Stew-Mac purchased electric bending iron.
I was wondering if bending Native Olive presents any problems for a beginning (albeit somewhat mature of age) maker with the equipment mention. Is is an easy species to bend or will it give me grief??? I have thicknessed the sides to a tad over 2mm.

Hi Alan

I've only used it in a side bender but I had no problems with it. I seem to remember that it held it's shape quite well after coming out of the mold.

I built a uke out of it, on a mould though, it bends easily.
