Not sure where the "one piece" comes into it Allan. On the site it seems to indicate that their thing is to have all the brace separate, they don't touch each other they do this under over business.

They look like spruce/hardwood laminated braces and not spruce/CF as well. He does some very tidy work by the look of it.

I thought the sign on the door was so the harmonic vibrations knew where to go.

Makes me wonder if Cole Clarke will do a spin on this next, I can see the sense for mass production to drop a one piece brace on and glue up in one hit, not quite sure how it would effect the whole top vibration mojo thing though.

I'm not sure of the maker, it popped up on a repost in google images.
Looks beautiful, but I highly doubt that it adds to a good sounding top, for me it adds to ease of mass production.

Nice snare Ross :D how did you do your bearing edges, router or by hand. Also were your lugs locally sourced?

Thanks Nick.
I did bearing edges with router. The lugs I machined myself. Polished aluminium with brass inlay and polish brass vertical pins. Shell is Wattle.

That's what made me ask Steve, I can recognise most manufacturer's lugs (bit of an Anorak  ) and never seen these before. Nice job Ross, not many people could claim to have made everything on their drum (apart from the throwoff.....or did you make that as well? :D )

Got some nice axes there Perry (fan frets seem to be the order of the day! ), I notice the solid seven string bridge has your name attached, are the independent tailpieces your proprietary brand as well or did you source them commercially?

No I didn`t make throw off. That come from Billy Hydes closing down sale. Also bought the hoops. Ill make them next time.

Great use of timbers Perry. There is going to be some very happy customers there.

I'm working on a Mahogany Barge-Arse model which now has the binding on and getting some sanding sealer on it.

I designed them, and unfortunately the manufacturer now allows others to buy them. So I try to keep the details of who, as close to my chest as possible.

However, we just signed an exclusive deal with Hipshot, who are currently making 250 multiscale bridge sets for us. 6, 7 and 8 string models, and they will be available to luthiers. Next up is angled pickup sets, and/or conversion base plates and magnets.

Love that Barge arse Bob, just looks like it'll have some balls. :D

That's a bugger and fair enough, mind you it was either your manufacturer or the Chinese who got in first
I do like the look of the independent saddle/bridges and top loading makes for a nice quick string change between songs.
