Well as i said in a previous post, i lashed out and bought the Laguna LT14SUV and it turned up yesterday afternoon as arranged but sorry to inform you that i can't post any happy snaps of the new arrival as i sent the bloody thing back!!!   ,,, reason being , the loser of a delivery driver couldn't be bothered securing a 1.8m tall 170kg load inside his truck and sure as eggs are eggs the crate tipped over sustaining obvious damage to the machine, can't tell you how disappointed i am. :( :( :( :(

Just goes to show,, you can be as thick as two short planks and still get a job aa freight courier, the guys best suggestion was for me to take delivery and after all damage was assessed get it replaced,,,, dumb prick.

It's here,,, :D :D :D :D at long last i have my new machine in the shop, no thanks to the admin of the freight company trusted to deliver the goods, this driver today today was able to contend with any short comings that his admin threw at the job in hand and delivered my Laguna LT 14 SUV safe and sound, i am yet to install the machine so pics will come very soon.
On another note though, i'll be sending an email of thanks to Gregory Machines for their service, and determination to see that one of their customers is looked after even when circumstances outside of their control turn the situation to shit. :cl :cl :cl :cl
i'm truly a happy chappy today :D :D :D :D

Looking forward to those pics. (And has it has become quite a standard here, also a soundclip and spectrogram please... )
It is always a pleasure to look at a brand new saw. I wish you a smooth, problem-free installation and setup.

When you go to bolt up the motor : I used blocks of wood and a car jack but a second person would've been much easier.

I'm also glad I have a trolley in the workshop as the whole thing is pretty heavy at around 150kg

Australian humour I guess. If not by Bob, then by the (ex-) employee who, instead of ordering like his boss told him "black rippled particle boards" just ordered "particular rippled blackwood". :D

Hmm. Call it shock that Bunnings is carrying something like that

But suffice to say, said employee has just been given a recommended promotion to the Bunnings near me instead! :D

Just a follow up to say that i'm very happy with the machine, has no problems working both ends of the spectrum, cuts veneers very accurately and resaws quartered logs nearly as easy, very happy with it.
