gun clean up mirocat 3220

Post by old_picker » Thu Nov 06, 2014 10:59 am

have heard discussions ssaying you should use the mirotone thinners to clean up the gun after using mirocat 3220
any truth to this? or can i use diggers general purpose lacquer thinners which is a bit cheaper

bought a tin of 3220 and Mt thinners yesterday - running some trials to see how it goes

thanks

General purpose gun wash thinners will work fine. If it's really cheap crap it might not clean it really well, but you can use it to get the gun pretty clean and use just a splash of the good stuff to finish it up.
