A lot of the youngsters wouldn't be familiar with his work, but he could the play bass a bit.

Alvin Stardust went the other day as well. Yeah I know he was a glam rocker but guys like me and Kim were into that sort of thing in our younger days.

Yes, so sad about Jack Bruce. He was a great inspiration during my youth and I did get to see and meet him in our mutual hometown, Glasgow.

Certainly looked like he had! Always had the utmost respect for Ginger,highly talented drummer but never realised until later that Jack was THE most talented in the band. Much like John Paul Jones, sat quietly in the background but WAS the glue that tied things together. RIP Jack.
Also Alvin, may not have been in the same league as Jack but was just as much a part of my yoooof.
