Selmer/Maccaferri models?

Post by matthew » Mon May 19, 2008 1:28 pm

Anyone here got experience with the Selmer/Maccaferri models? Has anyone built one? Has dared go the whole way and built one with the internal resonator??

I love the sound of Selmers. If (!??!?!) I was going to make a guitar, I'd probably make my life difficult by trying a Selmer model. Suggestions?

Go 4 it!
I like Selmer/Maccaferri's! I don't think I'd even take a shot at the resonator/internal rattle trap. I don't even know if anybody knows what they look like as they were all removed.

Ive got a plan if you want to borrow it Mathew (work is in Auburn) , doesnt have instructions for the resonator though. Im curious about the bend in the soundboard, that bit stumped me.

Matthew,

If you don't already know about it this resource on Paul Hostetter's web-site is a great source of info.
