Habco Homeshop?

Post by nnickusa » Sun Aug 03, 2014 8:17 am

One for sale for me a town or two over for pretty cheap, well, so far.

Looks like a combo table saw and jointer, neither of which I have.

Anyone have experience with these? Would it be worth a couple hundred?

Keeping in mind that virtually nothing turns up near enough me to warrant the trip to pick up.

Thanks in advance...
I wish I was half the man my dog thinks I am....

Cheers,
Nick

Brand and Model?

It'll be a contractors style saw so it wont be as robust as a fully specc'd bench saw. Dont expect great things for the fence on the machine either.

You might be better off spending the money on a proper table saw (more useful in my shop than a jointer).

Here is an interesting thread regarding that type of saw combo and price Nick

Got to say it looks like a dangerous little thing as well , you would need to box it in . look at how the wood drops off the table in to the belt .
