Trevor Gore 3 day workshop in Newcastle

G'day folks,

I've just signed up for a 3 day guitar building workshop with Trevor Gore in November. It's at the Australia Guitar Making School in Newcastle which I've been a student of for a couple of years.

Apparently there are 6 spots available and there are three left.

From all accounts the last time this course was run it was very highly regarded.

Do they do electrics? And in my case, stupidly pointy with too many strings electrics?

They have done electrics, but reluctantly

The school would certainly be a way for you to access most of the equipment you'd need.

Trevor may have built a few electrics but I'd say his area of expertise is acoustics. Why dont you build an acoustic with Trevor and come over to the dark side?

I have literally not touched an acoustic in about 5 years

As John rightly pointed out to me, this is not a guitar building workshop - it's more about design.
