A guitar with good taste

Post by Taffy Evans » Sat Jun 14, 2014 2:08 pm

I cant tell you what this guitar was made of because believe it or not this is my grandsons !8th birthday cake. The guitar and amp are/were edible. I don't know how my name came to be on the amp though, it was the cake luthier's idea. He also got a real "Evans" guitar, I thought it was quite tasty too. :)

Tasty indeed Taffy !
How the heck does someone bake a guitar & amp like that ?
Attention to detail is impressive on both. Think yours may last a while longer though :D

I'd have been a very happy chap if that was my birthday :cl

Cheers

There's some crazy time spent on that one!

Looks great. It's be a shame to eat it!

He got two special guitars! The one you made is gorgeous! The cakes look good as well.

Given the chance he would have got a tune out of the cake  I had to put a "DO NOT TOUCH" sign up to stop people trying to strum the strings.
