LMI order

Hi All,

Happy new year to you all.

I have ordered on several occasions from LMI and have been really happy with the products, but it has always been a bit of a Kerfuffle.........place order, wait for freight quote , reply , pay and wait for delivery.

The latest order was just too easy, they now have freight quote at checkout , reasonable freight rates, I chose the standards USPS service and considering the time of year it arrived prettty quickly.

so if you have previously been a bit turned off by the experiance, probably worth giving them another go.

Have never had any issues with either Stewmac or LMI. The last LMI order was put in days before Christmas and took 3 days to get to Adelaide...cant beat that for service.

I've always avoided LMI as they used to only ship UPS - it's been several years though since I asked for a shipping quote so it's good to hear they now have USPS on the table.

Thanks for posting, I'll have to keep my eye on them for future purchases.

But there check-out process is sooooooooooooo much better.

Glad to hear they've updated the shipping part of the process. I've no objection to using LMI as their products are as good as any out there but like you Paul, I've always felt the shipping quote part was a kerfuffle when so many other sites seem to be able integrate shipping costs so easily into their cart system. The only other thing I didn't/don't like about LMI is they never let you know when the goods had shipped so you never knew just how long you'd be waiting for your order (don't know if they've altered this also with the new cart system?). Always a bit awkward telling your customer "Sorry, I don't know when it's going to show up but I think it's on it's way, at least it should be."

LMI notified me when order got shipped and gave me a USPS tracking number.

LMI have had USPS as an option for some time now.

Send them an email asking about your order. Ive always had a quick response to emails in the past.

+1 and a tracking number, it's pretty much as easy and as pleasant to use as Stewmac now.

I really like there products , so i'll be using them a bit more know.

That's good to hear As Paul said, they have some good products so it should be as painless as their competitor's procedure now
