has anyone here had any experience with these Australian designs?

Hi Matthew,
Ive printed them out and they look OK to me. There are other plans which go to the detail of grain direction, ornamentation etc but not these. I think these are good for the shapes but after that you are on your own. These are no dimensions, but things like fret placement etc can be sourced elsewhere so they are useful for shapes, not much else.

For the Archtop, Mandolins and Mandola's there are, these use tone bars not bracing like you see on the guitars on the forum here. Because of the carved tops and the tailpiece to anchor the strings they dont need to be braced, tone bars are used to improve the sound.matthew wrote:No bracing guides either. The curious thing about this company, with the unlikely name of one of the partners (Rev Archimedes Bailey!), is that I have never heard of them actually building anything. Someone put a lot of time and effort into those plans, but what happened. Any Melbourne forum members ever been to 140 Gold St, Brunswick? I suppose I could write them a letter...
