Hi All,
Ken has saved my bacon recently
, I had a catasrophic failure of my Jet 10-20 drum sander after only 18 months, Jet Australia were no help other than offering to sell me $300 worth of Parts with no guarentee it would not happen again ,a quick search led me to Ken who had solved the problem for himself and half the Lutherie community of the UK a few years back , I think Ken's Mod will outlast every other component on the machine and he Kindly did it reallly quickly for me as well , it should arrive any day now , will post some Pics when it does, unless Ken would like to post a link to his thread and pics of the issue and the mod he designed, some may think it worthwhile to take a Pro active stance and do the mod before your left stuck like I was
Thanks Again Ken.
Cheers,

Good to have you on board here Ken. I divide my time between here and UU, as I think several others do.

Welcome to the Forum Ken. As an engineer, I can see the problem with you Uke-O-Matic right off the bat, your dongle whatsit is way too tight and it's causing the flange-ama-thingy to crimple the blogit. Oh and for health and safety regs you might want to think of putting a guard around that vee belt especially as it's right near your main isolator

Nice to hear in church but not in a Mexican prison.
