Humidity controller

Currently I store my wood and works in progress in a spare room in my house. I have a dehumidifier but it does not have a humidity controller built in. I thought rather than buying a new dehumidifier with a controller that is potentially very inaccurate, I would try one of the units from Auber http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_ ... cts_id=265.



I have had experience with their PID controllers before so I felt confident to give it a go. So far it works very well. It has a upper and lower resolution of .01% and you can set the on and off point. It's read out is in .5% of my humidity gauge so it looks like it is going to be a winner so far. It also has a nice long cable going to the sensor which would be very nice if you needed to place it somewhere a distance away from the dehumidifier and can also humidify.

What are others using to portable dehumidifiers?

For a cheaper alternative search (f.i. on e-Bay) for "WH8040" air humidity controller. Same for temperature controller (both cooling and heating) "STC-1000".
