Not sure of the exact details of the instrument but there's a picture of the instrument in the link below. Nick, maybe you could notify a few of your contacts around Chch and make them aware of the missing instrument.

If you leave $4500 worth of gear in your car overnight, You are an idiot.

Mate of mine left his Tele and Musicman amp in his car in front of my loft in NYC--NOT a "nice" neighborhood instead of bringing it in. It got stolen--surprise!

He was an idiot.

I feel sorry for the kid, but he was an idiot.

Nuff said
I wish I was half the man my dog thinks I am....

Cheers,
Nick

This guy is/was a student of my endorser Bob Heinz so I'm sure Bob's spread the word amongst those that should know already and the fact that it was an odd bod will help recovering it if it surfaces.
I almost got Robbie to play my petite bouche at the OZ Manouche festival last year as they were playing but several other events conspired against me getting the guitar ready in time for the guys. Might see if I can help out with a loaner for him.....as long as he doesn't leave it in the back seat of a friggin car!, you are right Nick, that's just plain asking for trouble  Especially in Chch!
"Jesus Loves You."
Nice to hear in church but not in a Mexican prison.
