Hello,
I am working in South of Korea, recently I started my first acoustic guitar paining with shellac. I have plan to keep build custom guitar and sell it to the person who wants to have a good quility instrument. So, I already registered my business to the national tax office to get the benefits tax when I purchase the materials, and be flexible to do a business in the near future.
I have a year experience to live in Austraila and know how Australia is well developed about natural stuff.. but I have no idea yet what kind of wood and other materials are good in there for luthier's work. so I joined this forums today. the thing is that in Korea, there is absolutely no information or forum about building a instrument.. they don't share the information, because they think they lose their job.. it's very shame way but that is the way of here.
I want to purchase a dewaxed shellac if there is a good suplier with good price, if one of you found any good site or shop, please share the information. so far, I found some site http://www.shellacshack.com, http://www.shellac-india.com, and one of site does not have dewaxed..
anyways. I hope I can get a good info here..
thanks!

First off welcome to the forum. And if you could please add your name to your signature (in the user control panel) it will appear at the end of your posts automatically. That way we get to know you better.
I've bought dewed shellac in Australia from Goods and Chattels. Excellent service. Don't know if they will send to Korea though.
You can always make your own by making up the waxed shellac and straining off the waxy bits. The fellows here who do a lot of French Polishing will be able to help you better though.
