Luthiers in Perth

Post by SteveT » Wed Feb 29, 2012 8:16 am

I live on the US east coast & build mostly classical guitars. I will be in Perth later this year visiting my son & his family & was wondering if there were any builders who might want to chat over a coffee, or a beer, or whatever is the beverage of choice Down-under. :gui Feel free to PM me.

Hi Steve,

My First Port of call would be Tim Spittle , he has Australia's finest selection of tone woods , better take some cash with you though , your sure to see something you want!

Cheers,
Paul .

Better allow for not having any cash when you leave Tim's house.

Welcome to the forum Steve. And the beverage of choice at Tims is coffee. He makes a great cuppa. But the rest of those blokes all drink beer, with the one odd fellow from Albany liking a bit of red wine.

If you end up traveling through Cairns we can catch up.

You could pop in and say hello if you want. We have a cappuccino machine in the shop, and the fridge that holds the milk doubles as the beer fridge.
