Christmas Tune

Post by Dave White » Sun Dec 04, 2011 2:21 am

Well we're in the right month  So here's my arrangement of "The Coventry Carol" in DADGAD played on my little Caucasian Spruce/African Blackwood ""Féileacán" guitar . This year I set myself the aim of getting better at artificial harmonics and my poor efforts finish off this piece. It's definitely staying on my New Year's Resolution list - must try harder

"The Coventry Carol".

Compliments of the season to you Dave. Thanks for that - I enjoyed your playing. The crisp bell-like tone of that guitar in DADGAD is just great.
cheers

Thank you Dave, that's a nice tune and pretty well played too. If I would try this I surely had to paint the strings at the locations to pluck and touch for get any artificial harmonics at all! That guitar sounds as beautiful as it is, and much "bigger" than its dimensions (speaking of inches and millimetres). I remember your "rebirth"-thread about this guitar here.
