Hey, one of my latest GAL journals 106 mentioned this new online journal for peer-reviewed research on all aspects of stringed instruments. It is free, open access and they are calling for papers now. Science based and peer-reviewed will challenge some of the voodoo lutherie being peddled as fact.

Also had an interesting analysis of a blind test of soundports which showed there was a strong placebo effect with the testing. That is, if people expected to hear a difference they would, even though they were listening to guitars without sounports. Just goes to show that the easiest person to fool is yourself, especially if you have invested time and rep in advocating a particular design concept or technique.
