David Burgess fine violinmaking secrets
Re: David Burgess fine violinmaking secrets
Thanks Matthew
Wouldn't you have to be careful not to cut into the top of the violin? :

David Burgess is one of the world's leading contemporary violin makers. If says that's the most manly way to do it, it must be so.
Likewise, Expat Aussie Peter Goodfellow is inventing more manly ways to exercise his trade

I never realised violin making was such a macho pursuit.
Thanks for that Matthew.

I think the bloke going at the violin with the recipro saw might be more interested in helping me with some foundations we are digging at the moment, we need someone on the end of a 75 kilo rock breaker for a day, that should get all that pent up macho shit out of him

Cheers yoall!!!

The second video is a faaaaar better system, you can fit the bridge & buff the rear of the body & peg head at the same time.

Nice to hear in church but not in a Mexican prison.

I like the guy that carves the violin back with a chainsaw, he's even more macho than Simso's mate with the belt sander
and what's more, i reckon he could've done a nicer job on the cello with the Husquvana than the guy with the belt sander
