Hi. I'm wondering what radius people recommend for back/top of all three major sizes of uke?
Thanks

back/top radius for various sized ukes?
Re: back/top radius for various sized ukes?
backs, I use 15'. Saves me building a second radius dish. Anything flatter than 15' on a uke will be difficult to even notice.
For fronts, I used to build flat tops but now build with a dome from the lower transverse brace down. this is acheived by means of a dished workboard. The board is dished with a small, cheap finger plane with a curve sanded onto the sole.

Backs are 15'.
Tops are flat in the upper bout. Lower bout is formed in a dished workboard. Nothing too scientific. Scooped out until I liked the look of it.
