A few local builders got together at Dan Robinson's this afternoon for a late lunch, a few beers and wines, lots of instrument talk with Stefan Sobell, renowned English luthier.
Stefan's son, Jason, lives in Melbourne so Stefan was out here visiting and was kind enough to drop in for an afternoon of guitar related stuff.
He's also a pretty mean table tennis player and gave Ian Noyce a bit of a pasting on the ping ping table.
We also got to have a look through Dan's workshop which made most of us fairly envious. (it's really clean and tidy too, unlike my own)
