Too right, Rod. In a modern cabinet shop, I'm virtually unemployable. Besides, for me to put in an 8 hour day , it takes 12 hours. So I end up in my shed 8 hours and actually work 4.

You sure are right there Martin, the silly thing is that the government says we have a skills shortage and that we need to import people from overseas with skills to fill the void, well Hello!!! look around and you'll see a wealth of skilled people who are ready willing and able to to fill that void, but they are stuck on the employment scrap heap, why? because they are over fifty years of age, and we all know that old farts of that age can't do their job anymore because they're just too bloody old!! aren't they? Well last time i checked, my productivity was considerably greater than the twenty something guy next to me, but that didn't matter when work got scarce did it? The old fart got the arse.
So now i'm self employed again, flat out like a lizard drinking.
Cheers

Rod.
