Made a visit to Permex this morning, here is the price / m for fibreglass rod
4.5/5.0 mm dia - $2.42/m
6.2mm dia - $2.81/m

They use this company for end caps

Thanks for going out of your way! May just go with this mob and pay and extra 20-30 bucks and keep the money in the country...I mean the USD is doing better after they announced Bin Laden's death...
