Master Set Tops

Post by Kamusur » Tue Mar 15, 2011 8:39 am

I know we have had the Qld floods, NZ quake now the Japan tsunami but surely not $250 for an MG topset KB pine this must be a typo?
(I am still in a daze/more dazed after reading this nonsense elsewhere)

where?

I got King Billy soundboards from Tim S before Xmas for $30 each. Not master grade but a whole lot cheaper.

I've noticed a lot of people just chucking really outrageous prices on sets in the last few months. Quite a few on eBay.

I suppose that there are enough newbies out there that are willing to be parted with the cash that someone will be there to take it from them.

Doesn't mean that we have to buy into it though.

Tell 'em nothing - let 'em rot. Plain and simple bad news.

By the photos of the master grade KB on the link, i'd say the stuff i got from TimS was pretty similar and at 1/8th the price I'll bet you can guess who'll get my business.

Chances are they came from Tim in the first place.
