Great pictures and some beautiful instruments there!

Did you have an interest in the lap slide guitars?

Cheers

Had quite a few people play them Alan. Everyone seemd to be positive.

Dave Steel (Weddings , Parties, Anything) like them but wanted heavier strings. He usually plays a resonator with 17-68's. I've got a set but I don't know if I'm gane to try them :D

I used to see "Weddings , Parties, Anything" at the Uni bar a fair bit in the mid 80's.
What happened to all those pub bands that were around, did they all get day jobs & start buiding guitars ?
(Took the kid's to The Wiggles the other week. Tried to tell them that I used to see them play as The Cockroaches regularly on wednesday nights at the Hotel Manly.
My 7yr old wanted to know why they changed their name & did they play Hot Potato? My 3 yr old just wanted to know if Dorothy was there? Who knows, maybe she was....... :D .)

BTW, looks like it was a great weekend with some great instuments & people!
