Yes dudes,

Slapped on some 7 or 8 coasts of oil, dried a few weeks and buffed and ever so slightly distressed...you know so she looks like she been on the road for a while.

Me thinks me has a winner here...so me gonna redesign this particular Travel Guitar...simplify it so as to be able to reproduce it faster and easier. Yes is true. Me may just go into limiter production run...well maybe.

Woo hoo! producksion rum. I might just be able to afford one then. I do love the way that heel just follows through into the sides.

It turned out great! You did a fabulous job, as usual. How does it sound now that things have settled in a bit?

Look great Duh...must agree with Jim that the neck and sides being all one stick of wood makes for a 'very' cool look...seamless and organic.

Well done :cl :cl :cl

Cheers

Yes, that's a great looking guitar. Very carefully made! Amazing how the varnish (varnish?) brings out the grain of top, back and neck. Is it really just oil, pure oil? What kind of oil? Walnut? Linseed? ???

The grain looks at the neck-sides transition is a real eye catcher! :cl

Sure is a winner! & what everybody else is saying about the neck running into the sides.... it's just beautiful, it might be just my sick mind but with the grain running in like that it demands to be held & stroked  . Very organic as Kim said.

Yes sir, right away. ~ NOT!

See is like dis ... ..me turned in me membership card to the cult of the Black Snake, 8 years in production studios and me just don't seem to wanna turn on a camera or plug in a mike. But one day when the builds start cluttering up the place, me will lay down some tracks and post them all in one shot.

So, yes, sound clips, coming up, but not today.
