That's some beautiful work Jeffrey.

Did those blokes do all the inlay work as well?

Do you have anymore pics close up so I can see all that detail on the fretboards?

I also love the cutaway is there a Tutorial anywhere on how its done (I know most of the cutaways have names but haven't a clue what this one is :) )

Many thanks

Hey Jeff, 3 great looking guitars and 3 very happy looking students. 8)

I really like how you have done more than just guide these guys through a basic build and have including the scalloped venetian cutaway and arm rest into the bargain so they really have a stand out guitar to take home and brag about. Must be a fun course and I am sure it would be an experience to remember culturally as well with all the sites and food and people your students would interact with...if it is not rude to ask, how much do you charge for such an experience and what is included in the package?? Only ask because I think many Aussies would leap at the chance to build under your guidance and breath in your local environment.

Merry Xmas to you and yours mate.

Kim

Thanks Kim, yes, indeed its a fun time not just building guitars but food as well, plenty of varieties to tickle your taste bud and of course having 4 seasons in a day is just enough to confuse you guys who suffered going thru all those extreme temperature and weather yearly.
Exchange rates are also an added attraction, 1 to 3 for you guys there so its like spending 3 days of feasting here comparing to a day of burgers and chips over there. 8)
Well, the fees for the course is much cheaper than many places and the assurance of taking home a complete guitar is indeed the highlight of the experience..... :D
sorry folks , i don't mean to advertise here but since you asked...
Its Christmas time now, lets all have a Wonderful Christmas experience and a Good and Beautiful New Year ahead.

Those look great Jeff!

Can you tell us what's happening on Bob and Nicolai soundhole? Looks like a soundhole cover of some sort....

Also, what finish are you using that gets these guys home with a guitar in 2 weeks? Thanks

I think it is great that they get to take home a JJ Model design, if they were at home doing it, that would be less likely (unless they are good enough to copy those without plans and as a first build). If I can eat Malay style Laksa every day and take home one of your designs I may consider a course myself, after these school holidays finish I am sure I will feel like a holiday myself.
