Closing Up Shop for a While

Post by Lillian » Mon Dec 13, 2010 12:22 pm

This just hasn't been my year. The first real storm of the season has come through and its the second time the shop has flooded this year. I was just getting things back in order from the first time when this one hit. I don't know how long it will take me to clean this one up, but it isn't going to happen anytime soon. I have to replace the sump pump in the crawl space and deal with that mess first. Vertigo and tendinitis on top of a flood has just tossed my motivation to the curb and run it over.

Enjoy your holidays and I'll be back soon.

Thats not good at all Lillian. If myself and Kim and Nick were close by we'd be right around to fix that sum pump and fix anything else that needs fixin'.

Keep logging in and posting even if youre not actively building Lillian....you've very much been an important part of this forum right from the start.

Cheers Martin (and Kim and Nick)

Don't let it get you down L'il, shit happens and it seems to have been happening a lot around you lately, but remember this, shit makes for fertile ground so good things are sure to start sprouting up for you soon. Like Martin said...stick around.

Cheers

Sorry to hear about the setback Lillian, as Martin stated if you or we were closer, I'd be rolling my sleves up & helping out to get that shop back to normal.
Take a break Lillian & come back fresh & rejuvenated & make sure you do come back! otherwise we will miss your female perspective. Have a good christmas, grab a few deep breaths, grit your teeth, give it a good Rambo yell & a good swift kick in the bollocks in the New Year! Don't let it beat you.

Martin, I have no doubts that if we were in the same hemisphere there'd be at least one Aussie and a couple of Kiwis helping making things better. No doubt at all.

Nick is right, I just need a bit of down time. No screen time. Between work and home things are a bit overwhelming.

Thank you all for the warm thoughts. You'll got dust in my eyes now, making them all irritated and leaky.

Don't worry, I shan't be gone too long, just long enough to prove I'm not addicted to the computer and that I can stop any time I want to.

Be back in a bit.

Lillian,

That's too bad. I hear quite a few folks got flooded over there. Take a break, breathe deep. Hope to see you back at it soon.

Pat
