Carbatec Nuts and Bolts special

Post by vandenboom » Tue Dec 07, 2010 8:09 pm

Some of you might be interested in one of these on special at Carbatec at the moment.

I got a 5/16" set the other day. The guys in the store were blown away by the demand for these and had to get in more stock after selling out very quickly. Good value for $50 I think.

That's odd. Mine still shows $49, with $79 crossed out. Perhaps only some stores are offering the special???

Must be the case Frank, the link directs me to CT WA and at that site there is no other price but $79 for both 1/4" and 5/16th, if I change stores to Melbourne, $49.

Cheers

The stores are mainly owned by different owners and not all have the same specials at the same time. The link I get is for Brisbane and it is on special for 49. I think Bris and Adelaide are the same owners.

Interesting, what happened to Carbatec Canberra? Gone bust? If so I am not surprised, and serve them jolly well right right (long story). I just hope some poor innocents did not get caught up in it.

Hahaha, good ole Kiwi boys don't show any discount on this at all (NZ$ 110)! No such thing as 'specials' over here  .
